Lincolnshire leek farmer, Tim Casey and food charity, The Gleaning Network, teamed up to harvest 1,000 kilos of surplus leeks over the Bank Holiday weekend (6.5.14) – enough for 12,500 portions – to be distributed to food and homeless charities. Check out what the press had to say about this:
